How can we help?

Pediatric physical therapy the way it was meant to work — in your home, with your child, and with you as a real part of the process.

At Foundation First, I provide in-home pediatric PT for children with disabilities, neurodivergent profiles, and complex medical needs. But the way I practice looks a little different than what you might be used to.

Every session is play-based and child-led. I follow your child's interests, honor their neurology, and build goals around what actually matters to your family — not a generic developmental checklist. I work in your home because that's where real life happens. That's where skills need to stick.

And because I believe therapy only works if it works at home, coaching is built into every session.

You won't sit in the corner and watch. You'll be part of the work. I'll help you understand what we're doing and why, how to carry it into the other 167 hours of the week when I'm not there, and how to set up your home and your routines to support your child's development every single day.

That's not an add-on. That's how I practice.

What we work on together:

🧩 Strength, mobility, and motor development

Functional goals built around your child's real life — movement that matters, not just movement for its own sake.

physical therapy through play

🧩 Positioning and home setup

Your environment can either support your child's development or work against it. We look at your space and make it work for your family.

🧩 Play-based, neuro-affirming therapy

Child-led sessions that follow your child's interests and honor how their brain works. No forcing. No compliance-based approaches. Just connection, engagement, and progress.

🧩 Therapy carryover and caregiver coaching

The strategies that make the biggest difference happen between sessions. I'll make sure you know exactly what to do, how to do it, and how to build it into your daily routine without it feeling like one more thing on your list.

🧩 Care coordination and advocacy

I don't just show up for sessions and leave. I look at the whole picture — your child's team, their equipment, their school environment — and help make sure everything is working together.

The goal isn't just progress in PT. The goal is a daily life that feels more manageable for your whole family.
